Surf Vibe 2

This was once a flannel shirt — one that had been through a lot and was loved through it all. You can feel the sea in it: the waves, the high tide and the low. Like the ocean, it suited every mood.

When it could no longer be worn, the fabric still carried the tide in it. Too good to let go, it was reshaped, given another tide to ride.

Open it, and the quiet checks give way to color — a deep red panel framed in navy and pale zigzag stitching, warm brown and a strip of sand beside it, and a bright orange zip cutting down the middle. On the outside, the shirt's original sleeve button now forms a small pocket, ready to hold something little. The lining is fresh and sturdy — built to outlast the cards inside it.
